College is coming to an end.

Well, at least for my first year. Summer is right around the corner and I cannot wait. I have been so stressed out by school and the work load. When I first received all my final projects it didn’t seem difficult at all, until I started working on them on. It’s one thing to write a paper, but it’s another to have to create something off the top of your head. For design fundamentals my final was a book cover design. It included the front cover, back cover, spine, and a two page spread. We worked on it through the semester but when it all came together I kept finding myself unsatisfied with the result. So there was a lot of trial and error, and color changing going on there. I ended up receiving a 96% on it, which I am pretty happy with. For Photoshop class we had to create a movie poster. We weren’t allowed to use any pictures of the actors, or screen clips from the movie. That made it much harder, but I am very happy with the result. I did the movie Ghost World which is one of my favorite movies of all time. That made it a lot more interesting and fun. I still haven’t received a grade on it, but I am hoping I get a great one. I put a lot of time and effort into it. For psychology I had a six page research paper. I did it on color psychology, which basically is how color affects our psyche. I got a 100% on that, so I really can’t even tell you how excited I was.
Last night was the last class for Design Fundamentals, and we went to a local cafe called the Rote Note. It was really nice and there was a lot of great art work. Before we went there we took group photos with our book covers. Here’s the pictures
