The latest article I have read is, Generating Traffic To Your Blog. I have recently been thinking a lot about how I can get more traffic, and this article offers a lot of great tips. One is to use forums; you can find ones of a common interest or just a general forum. They are great because you can spread the word of your blog, while gaining readers and friendships. Two is article writing. If you are writing articles on your blog, it brings fresh and new content for your readers. We as humans are always interested in hearing other peoples thoughts. Also, you can write articles on other sites with a link to your blog. Another great tip is advertising using buisness cards. They don’t necessarily have to be business cards, but something with your site name on it that you can leave places and hand out. This article offers a bunch of great tips that we all can benefit from.
Another interesting article I read was, Blog for Women: A healthy approach in woman’s life. The article shares how us as women have a stronger need for communication. We often like to reach out to others about our life, and how stressful it can be. Blogging is a great way for women to do just that. Unlike an email or letter though; women are now reaching out internationally. Blogging is great for women, because women all over can comment on their blogs and give their opinions and their experiences. Women love to hear how other people got through certain situations. Some women are now blogging about specific subjects; sometimes crafts, children, or cooking. It’s almost like keeping a journal of your favorite hobbies and talent. I think it is great, and I think more women (of all ages) should be blogging.

I think I might have a slight addiction to Petville on Facebook. I am currently at level 31 and cannot stop playing! I just bought my VW Beetle in the game; and I am awkwardly ecstatic. I shouldn’t get so happy over such small, silly things. But this game is just plain addicting!

In those most current article I have read, How to maintain your website successfully, I learned a bundle of great information. The article says to treat your website as a garden; it needs constant attention. I believe that to be very true, and it’s a key tip in the success of a website. The article says to have weekly tasks, monthly tasks, and annual task. Weekly tasks are simple; check your email links and test your forms. Very simple, but very beneficial. Monthly tasks include; validating your links and checking our engine ranking. The annual tasks are to renew your domain name, check browsers, back up all files, and review your SSL verification. All simple things you think us as webmasters would do; but usually don’t. If you mark these down in your calendar and or planner, you will more likely do them. All of these things can really improve your website.

The other article I read is, Five Reasons To Creat Your Blog Using Wordpress Software. It’s a very great article, and shows off my favorite software in the world; Wordpress! The article states how easy wordpress is to use, and how amazing it is for new bloggers. Not only that but they also state how you don’t want to spend money for a blog; and Wordpress.com is free. They also say how to add-ons/plug-ins for Wordpress are awesome; which I entirely agree with! Personally, I can give more than 5 reasons why Wordpress is the best. If you, or yourself, are thinking about using Wordpress software, or Wordpress.com defiantly give this article a look. I’m sure it will sway you.

Yet another day of not going to school due to illness. I woke up with a 100.5 temperature, I feel horrible. But anyways I have some more pictures, because I have nothing else to do with myself.

I decided to make a blogger account for reviewing my favorite products and what not. You can view it here. I really like blogger.com, it’s simple and manageable. I have been doing really good over at Blogadvertisingstore.com. I have already make 61$; I am pretty proud of myself .

That’s the laptop skin I am going to get my boyfriend for his birthday. I had him chose it out because there are so many options, and I didn’t know which one to buy. I really like it, and I think he’ll love it.

Valentine’s Day is the day to express your love for your significant other. Often finding the perfect gift is very difficult. Valentine Gifts are supposed to show your love and show that you know your partner very well. You never want to buy your partner a gift that doesn’t relate to them, and most importantly a gift they do not enjoy.

Perfume and cologne is a number one choice on Valentine’s Day. Why? It shows your lover that you know what scents they like, and it shows them that you enjoy their company. You love the way they smell and cherish every moment of it. Almost every women loves a great perfume, and almost all men can say they always need cologne. With women we often like to stick with scents. So men, go threw her perfume collection and see which one is used the most. She will most likely love a gift set of this scent.

Flowers are very symbolic to Valentine’s Day. Mainly because flowers are beautiful, and have a good meaning behind them. Almost all women enjoy flowers during anytime of the year, and some may say that they don’t. I have heard a handful of women say they don’t like flowers because of the fact that they die. A great alternative to this is artificial flowers. I’m not talking about buying a few from Walmart and handing them to her, I am talking about actually ordering a custom piece. There are some floral shops that can arrange a bouquet of artificial flowers just the same as real flowers. For those women that love real flowers, this year try to do something different. Roses are beautiful, but are very cliche. Casually ask her what her favorite flower is and build a bouquet from that. Many floral shops add great customization oppurtunities. From customizing the vase, to customizing a card. I would take advantage of all of these oppurtunities to add the best Valentine’s Day experience.

I just finished reading an article called How to create a web site with appeal. It has a lot of great insight on the topic. There are millions of websites out there, and a lot lack appeal. This article gives you the basic tips on how to add that appeal. Number one being aesthetically pleasing; it should fit your purpose and audience. If you have a parenting blog, I am sure you’re not going to have a theme with famous serial killers on it. Secondly is a unique experience. As I stated previously there are numerous sites out there offering all different experiences. You want yours to be unique and appealing to your audience. One of my personal goals is to always draw a reader back to my site. I find it unrewarding if a reader stops once, and never returns. To keep your readers coming back you need to have a unique experience, offer something that others aren’t. Third is evocative. The site you are running should have positive emotion, whether through words or imagery. Even though us as human all have hard times, we don’t always like to see and hear about others hard times. Most of us considering web browsing a hobby, and something we enjoy. If we find ourselves reading a depressing blog, it will put us in a depressing mood. If you truly want to get something off your chest in a post, do so, but offer a positive conclusion. Possibly something like, how can you fix the situation?
